When the pandemic was in full swing, there was no shortage of headlines about vaccine mandates and people losing their freedoms, their jobs and their professional licenses over their concerns about the safety of experimental COVID-19 jabs. As the dangers of these vaccines becomes too obvious to ignore, you’d be forgiven for thinking that this is no longer an issue, but the truth is that numerous Americans are being quietly prosecuted by the Department of Justice (DoJ) right now for resisting the vaccine.
Journalist David Zweig has compiled a report based on court documents demonstrating how the DoJ is currently spending hundreds of thousands of dollars prosecuting people who forged their COVID-19 vaccination status during the pandemic.
Many of those being targeted by their efforts are local doctors and midwives who forged vaccine cards, and it is important to note that most of them did not do this as a way of making money. Instead, they did it because they had legitimate medical concerns about the safety of the jabs for their patients, many of whom needed vaccine cards to keep their jobs or otherwise take part in society.
One of the cases he highlighted was a midwife practice in upstate New York known as Sage-Femme. Its medical center status allowed it to order doses of the vaccine and receive legitimate vaccine cards from the government. However, they destroyed the doses they received and filled out the cards for their patients anyway, claiming they had been vaccinated when they had not. As a result, they were hit with two indictments against separate staff members.
This case is particularly interesting when you consider the fact that midwives tend to be liberal and Democrats, flying in the face of the prevailing belief that those who avoided the vaccines were Republicans who were doing so for political reasons.
He also pointed to the case of a California naturopath named Juli Mazi, who gave her patients “COVID-19 homeoprophylaxis immunization pellets” rather than the official jabs but filled out official cards for them anyway. With posts on Facebook that espouse hugging trees, Zweig doubts she fits the profile of a right-wing conservative who is trying to make a political statement by refusing the jab.
Zweig notes that it is particularly concerning that the government is wasting resources pursuing these cases when it could be going after those that have far greater repercussions for the government and taxpayers alike, such as Medicare and Medicaid fraud, which costs us billions of dollars every year.
In some vaccine fraud cases, like one involving a plastic surgery center in Utah, multiple undercover agents were enlisted to carry out a sting operation. The cost to the government of the doses that center received was just over $28,000, which does not seem like an amount of money worth devoting so many resources to investigating.
Moreover, some of the cases he discussed were filed in spring 2022, which is well after it became apparent that the jabs did not stop people from transmitting the virus or being infected by it – which means there was really no justification for the mandates or for prosecuting these people. Many of the indictments claimed that the fraud was making society less safe, but we now know for sure that was not the case.
According to Zweig’s research, thousands of ordinary American citizens were so desperate to fake their vaccination status that they would rather be considered criminals than take on the risks of getting jabbed. It’s possible that many of them already had the virus and knew that previous infection provided them with stronger protection than the vaccines, as many European governments have now acknowledged. The U.S. was one of just a few places that did not allow people who had acquired natural immunity via infection to be exempted from vaccine mandates.
